The CyanogenMod Community is starting to roll out the first of its CM 14.1 nightly builds. The version of the custom ROM will be based on the latest Android 7.1. It is still to early for all the features to be working and some, like themes, will not be available for users immediately. As we said, the first nightly builds are the starting phase to get the ROM started up and There’s a long way to go until CM 14.1 becomes fully stable and functional.
The devices that are compatible with CyanogenMod 14.1 right now ( assuming an unlocked bootloader ) includes:
- Nexus 5X, 6P
- Xiaomi Mi3/Mi4
- LG G3, G4
- Moto G Variants
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Oneplus 3
- Asus ZenFone 2
CyanogenMod asks the users not to file bug reports on missing features, but is asking for help from its community. They say that more devices will be added to the list in the coming weeks. So if you don’t see your phone in the CyanogenMod’s download site, don’t get upset.
